Virginia technology group to utilize OneBeacon’s RiskNet program
The Northern Virginia Technology Council has chosen OneBeacon Insurance’s RiskNet property-casualty insurance and risk management program for its council members.
The NVTC serves the technology community in the greater Washington, D.C., area, as the largest technology council in the United States, with 1,100 member companies representing more than 200,000 employees.
The trade organization’s president and CEO, Bobbie G. Kilberg, said the group has a “longstanding and dynamic relationship” with AH&T Insurance, which has its East Coast office in Leesburg, Va., the managing broker for the program.
“[This relationship] has allowed us to offer our members more competitive benefit solutions,” Kilberg said in a statement. “Adding OneBeacon’s expertise will make it an even greater value for them.”
Matt Mueller, president of Canton, Mass.-based OneBeacon Commercial Lines’ technology group, said the company is thrilled about the opportunity to provide innovative insurance protection to NVTC member companies — and in collaboration with one of the company’s top-performing agencies.
“Working with agency partners like AH&T, OneBeacon specializes in providing differentiated property-casualty insurance products and services for particular markets and segments, such as technology,” said Mueller.
Mueller added that the expertise of OneBeacon’s technology underwriting group enables it to develop “comprehensive solutions” to manage risk.
