Zurich lowered its New York Disability Benefits Law (NYDBL) coverage.
Employers with 11-49 employees in 45 counties across New York State are eligible for the reduced rates.
“Our highly competitive rates throughout most of New York State mean we are one of the most affordable choices available,” said Donald Atkins, vice president of statutory disability, in a statement.
Zurich has offered statutory disability coverage for more than 50 years. The property-casualty insurer covers more than 75,000 employers with 900,000 employees in New York, the company said.
