The Carroll County/Howard County chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-Carroll/Howard is forming a class needed for the Financial Services Specialist designation (FSS) or for a Life Underwriters Training Council Fellow.

The eight-week class, Essentials of Annuities (FA-256), will begin Wednesday, May 13, at the offices of Interstate Financial Services, located at 401 E. Main St. in Westminster, Md.

Classes run from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
