NAIFA-Central Va. schedules annual charity golf event for May 20
The Central Virginia chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors has scheduled its annual charity golf tournament for Wednesday, May 20, at Greene Hills Club in Standardsville, Va.
Golfers are wanted to participate in the event, which will raise funds for the Charlottesville Free Clinic. Golfers pay $100 each or $400 for a foursome.
Registration begins at noon, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. After 18 holes of golf, attendees will gather for dinner, door prizes and a silent auction, starting at 5 p.m.
Founded in 1992, the Charlottesville Free Clinic provides free primary medical care, prescription medications and acute dental care for working uninsured adults and their families in the greater Charlottesville/Albemarle community.
