The Maryland Chapter of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society will hold a workshop Friday, May 8, entitled “Contractual Risk Transfer – Nuts and Bolts” on how the practice can help insurance professionals protect their accounts.

The workshop, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to noon, will be held at the Doubletree Hotel Annapolis at 210 Holiday Court in Annapolis, Md.
Facilitating the event will be award-winning educator, national lecturer and insurance expert witness R. Bryan Tilden.
Attendees will explore the concept and practice of contractual risk transfer, which can be handled with or without insurance, against the backdrop of the latest CGL policy and additional insured endorsements.
The workshop is approved for 4 CE credits in Washington D.C. and in Maryland, North Carolina and Virginia. A $4 roster fee must be paid for each CE certificate requested by a Maryland or North Carolina agent, broker or adjuster license holder.
The cost for CPCU Society members is $99, and for nonmembers, $109. The registration fee includes one CE certificate per workshop. Workshop materials, continental breakfast and refreshments are included.
