The Insurance Solutions division of Philadelphia, Pa.-based Lincoln Financial Group announced the expansion of its panel of dental providers.

The Lincoln DentalConnect PPO plan increased the number of providers so the panel now includes more than 54,000 unique providers and over 95,000 provider locations, offering greater choices for affordable, local dental care, according to the company.

“We’re committed to making quality dental care accessible to our customers,” said Dave Swanson, vice president of Product Development for Lincoln Insurance Solutions’ Group Protection Division said in a statement. “By expanding our provider and provider location list, we’re helping ensure customers can easily find a skilled dentist in their local area.”

The Lincoln DentalConnect PPO plan also now offers dental  implants and comosite posterior fillings as optional benefit coverages with effective dates of April 1, 2009 or later.
