Teachers’ Insurance Plan of NJ gave two graduating seniors from a New Jersey high school a $1,000 scholarship.

The auto insurance company awarded the scholarships to seniors Patrick Maguire and Stephanie Cooke, students at Lacey Township High School, as part of its “Quotes for Cash” program, a school fundraising initiative. Graduating seniors from participating Quotes for Cash districts are able to apply for the annual scholarships the company funds.

Maguire and Cooke were selected from a pool of 67 applicants, representing 21 high schools in the state.

The Quotes for Cash campaign has participants in 61 schools and districts across the state.

The Lacey Township school district joined the Quotes for Cash program late in the school year.
