The New York Times is reporting that Republicans are voicing opposition to the health care “reform” that Democrats and President Obama have promised will be rammed through Congress.
In the article, Sen. Pat Roberts, a Kansas Republican, said his party is being pressured by Democrats to support tax increases to pay for a bill they had not seen, with no foresight as to the associated costs.
“I’d like to see a bill,” Roberts was quoted in the article. “All I’ve seen is slide shows. After every show, I send the information to our health care providers. Then, after cardiac arrest, they come back and say, ‘Whoa, wait a minute, how is this going to affect doctors, hospitals, home health care, clinical laboratories, pharmacists, ambulance drivers?’ ”
And what about insurance agents and brokers??!!

With all this talk on lowering Health Care cost, why hasn’t anyone looked at or even considered placing a cap lawsuits imposed upon doctors? Does Senator Kennedy realize that Malpractice Insurance accounts for 15% on average, for all doctors costs. Why hasn’t this Administration even considered Tort Reform as a possible and partial solution to the rising costs of Health Care? I’ll tell you why, it’s because most of the Congressman and Senators, before running for office, were attorneys. And attorney all have an allegiance to the Bar Association. Every other Socialized Health Care system in the world have caps on law suits. Lawyers are completely left out of the equation. But of course, the Liberal based news media neglects to mention this. What a surprise…
