Glen Rock, N.J.-based Mutual Service Office introduced a bed and breakfast businessowners policy with specialty coverages to meet the unique needs of the industry.
The product is currently approved for use in Maine, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and filing are pending in Delaware, Maryland, New Hampshire and Vermont, according to MSO.
The new BOP combines property and liability provisions and conditions in one form, the company said, and a specific declarations supplement shows the coverage enhancements and dollar sublimits.
Highlights of the policy include “all risk” replacement cost coverage on buildings and business personal property; coverage enhancements for food contamination, guests’ property and guests’ relocation expenses; and a streamlined rating structure enabling agents to rate a policy in minutes, according to MSO.
If the owner lives on premises, the policy includes coverage for household contents, additional living expense and comprehensive personal liability.
