Underwriters Marketing Service, based in Mount Laurel, N.J., has scheduled its annual symposium at the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, N.J., for Aug. 3 and 4.

Among the highlights will be a presentation by Kim O’Brien, executive director of National Association for Fixed Annuities, who will discuss changes in the industry. Attorney Barry Yellin is scheduled to discuss the planning process, including everything from IRS information to trusts and wills, final expense, and long-term care needs.

There are breakout sessions, new markets to explore, more than 20 exhibitors at a trade show, door prizes and CE vouchers. An evening networking reception on Aug. 3 is also planned.

The event costs $75. A reception is planned for 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 3, and events run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 4.
