Fox Insurance Co., a New York-based Medicare Part D provider, has joined with Senior Financial Solutions (SFS) to increase the amount of independent representatives and sales support for its new Employer Group Waiver Plan product.

By aligining with SFS, Fox will gain more independent representatives who will market its products in the states where Fox is licensed to provide.

“We are very pleased to be partnering with Fox Insurance Company to provide marketing services for their EGWP offerings,” said Mike Rose, one of the operating partners of SFS, in a statement.  “We regard the EGWP product as addressing the needs of both the insurers and the beneficiaries in a cost-effective manner while providing the level of service that a more expensive group of products may not even provide.”

The EGWP product provides U.S. business entities with Employer & Union Group-sponsored retiree benefits.  Medicare D providers offer EGWP to employer or union sponsored group members whose employer or union doesn’t deal directly with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).  The provider oversees retiree benefits for the employer or union on CMS’s behalf.
