New York Gov. David A. Paterson and the state legislature have the right idea: Reform the current problems with health insurance and the uninsured instead of chucking the entire system out the window.
According to an article on IFAwebnews.com, a series of bills signed by the governor will make health insurance more accessible, and hopefully allow more substantial, positive changes in the future. That’s according to the acting New York insurance commissioner, who was appointed by the governor, a dyed-in-the wool Democrat.
Perhaps President Obama can take a cue from their playbook.
