Medicare cuts to pay for health care reform are “not painless”

Democrats call it “wasteful,” but for the millions of Americans who receive Medicare Advantage, it is anything but wasteful. And cutting it as part of President Barack Obama‘s health care reform could prove hurtful to those Medicare recipients, according to an article in the Baltimore Sun.
At least one expert, speaking about the president and Congress’s plan to cut the subsidy to pay for health care reform, said that there will be “dislocation” of recipients, and that “this is not painless.”
