Agents can now quote and place The Hartford’s small business insurance coverage in a faster, more streamlined process through new offerings, the insurer said.

The Hartford, Conn.-based insurer is making the Combined Group’s Agent Direct Express and Real Time Express software available to agents authorized to sell coverage from its property-casualty insurance subsidiaries, the company said.

Agent Direct Express is the single entry multiple carrier interface Combined Group provides to its client agents, while Combined Group offers Real Time Express to independent insurance agents not appointed by The Hartford or other participating carriers.

The Hartford also announced that appointed agents have access to InsureZone’s AgentSecure multi-carrier online insurance platform, allowing them to quote a business owner’s policy, workers’ compensation insurance or commercial auto policy for small business clients. By inputting data once, agents can receive quotes from multiple leading carriers for comparison, the insurer said.
