GPAHU plans health care reform town hall meeting for Sept. 9
The Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters is planning a town hall meeting for its corporate partners Wednesday, Sept. 9, that it is billing as a “frank and open discussion about the changing state of health care reform.”
GPAHU is permitting up to two representatives of each of its 42 corporate partners to participate in the town hall meeting. The organization’s general membership cannot attend.
The discussion will be led by Vince Phillips, chief lobbyist for the Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters, and Scott Crane, the state organization’s legislative committee chairman. They will offer an update and overview of pending health care legislation, while Wendy Owen, a public relations consultant, will address issues involving the media and health care reform.
The event is scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. at the Radnor Hotel at 591 East Lancaster Ave. in St. Davids, Pa.
Participants must register by Thursday, Sept. 3 by contacting Karen Mardis of the GPAHU by email kwmardis[at]gpahu[dot]net?subject=Referral from IFAwebnews[dot]com.
