Red Bank, N.J.-based High Point Auto Insurance announced a new partnership with the New Jersey Association of Realtors that could save its 50,000 members on their auto insurance policies.

The NJAR has endorsed High Point as its official car insurance partner and in return, members now have access to a special discount on car insurance, both companies said.

Jim Tignanelli, president of High Point Property and Casualty Insurance Co., said the insurer’s goal is to offer more than just insurance “and that’s exactly what we are doing here” by giving NJAR members the discount.

“Like NJAR, we are focused only on New Jersey,” Tignanelli said in a statement. “This allows us to provide meaningful coverage and benefits that look out for the specific insurance needs of New Jersey residents.”

NJAR is a non-profit organization serving the professional needs of its members, including commercial and residential brokers and salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors and other real estate professionals.

Diane Dilzell, NJAR’s president, said the group “aims to provide valuable benefits” to its members.

“Offering quality, discounted coverage from a company like High Point will provide mobile professionals like the Realtors of New Jersey peace of mind that their association membership brings real value,” she said.
