The Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia is planning to offer the eight segments of the Associate in Insurance Agency Operations courses this year.

The courses are part of a dynamic program designed to provide insurance agency owners, producers and managers with the planning, sales and service expertise necessary to build successful independent agency operations. Participants can enroll in all or separate dates.

This comprehensive curriculum is designed for those who seek the tools and strategies that will allow their agencies to be attractive business partners for top national and regional agency carriers. The events qualify for continuing education credits.

Classes are scheduled in Richmond, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sept. 24, Sept. 25, Oct. 13, Oct. 14, Nov. 3, Nov. 4, and March 11, 2010. A final course’s date has not been set.
