deal-handshakeThis selection is an “integral component” in Millers Mutual’s strategy to modernize their IT infrastructure by utilizing the prebuilt Duck Creek Commercial Lines Templates and bureau-based content maintenance service, according to a statement from Millers Mutual, a multi-line insurer working through independent agents in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, Delaware and Washington, D.C.

Millers Mutual plans to implement Duck Creek Ratings, customizable commercial line templates that include state specific policy-rating rules and tables for all lines of business, with plans starting with their business owner’s policy lines (BOP), the company said. This work marks the second phase of Millers Mutual’s modernization strategy, which will offer its independent agents easier communication with the carrier.
