The nation’s largest independent broker-dealer, LPL Financial Corp., has chosen Guardian Life Insurance Co. of America as its strategic partner for its new Retirement Plus Program.

The program provides retirement products and support to financial advisors who focus on retirement plans.

Guardian Retirement Solutions was selected as a partner by the new Retirement Plan Consulting Group at LPL Financial.

Over the last year Guardian made several additions to the senior management team, its product portfolio and national sales force, headed by Dale Magner, vice president.

As an LPL Financial Retirement Plus partner, Guardian Retirement Solutions will provide a diversified portfolio of retirement products while working closely with LPL Financial advisors to provide an enhanced level of training and marketing support, the company said.
