NCQA’s “Excellent” accreditation status is only awarded to those plans that meet or exceed NCQA’s rigorous requirements for consumer protection and quality improvement and deliver excellent clinical care.  This review process occurs every three years.

“This is a testament to the strong commitment to excellence of everyone at Optima Health and our physician partners,” said Michael M. Dudley, president and chief executive officer of Optima Health.

NCQA is an independent, not-for-profit organization dedicated to assessing and reporting on the quality of managed care plans, managed behavioral health organizations, physician organization and credential certification organizations.
