Big Caterpillar dealer to use Pa. firm’s risk management software
One of the largest Caterpillar truck dealers in North America has chosen to use a Kennett Square, Pa.-based company’s software to manage its insurance certificates and contracts.
GG-One Software said Empire Southwest, based in Mesa, Ariz., selected the iFastrack software to manage those functions when it rents, sells and supports heavy equipment for the construction, agriculture and mining industries located in Arizona, Southeastern California and portions of Northern Mexico.
The software company said iFastrack for the Web was selected to replace Empire Southwest’s current service to save money and improve vendor interaction and decision flexibility.
The iFastrack software allows companies to manage their risk from uninsured contractors, vendors or tenants over the Internet. The software helps minimize risk by efficiently tracking vendor contracts and insurance including expirations, coverage limits and other critical items, the company said.
“Most companies use contractors on a regular basis, but either don’t manage their ongoing insurance compliance or trust this important risk management function to outside services that can be very expensive and inflexible,” Phyllis Recca, CEO of GG-One Software, said in a statement. “The need to manage insurance certificates can be handled easily with our software, which allows companies to set their own requirements and procedures as opposed to yielding to those of someone else. ”
GG-One Software’s flagship Fastrack product has been in use for more than 15 years.
