A Healthcare Solutions Summit will be held for health insurance brokers and local business leaders in Roanoke, Va., Oct. 20.

The two-hour event, starting at 8 a.m., will focus on the role of consumer-driven health care and Health Savings Accounts in the health insurance marketplace.

Keynote speakers include Roy Ramthun, president of HAS Consulting Services and a former White House health policy advisor, and Greg Scandlen, founder of Consumers for Health Care Choices and a senior fellow at the Heartland Institute. A continental breakfast, summit and moderated discussion is planned at the Sheraton Roanoke Hotel & Conference Center at 2801 Hershberger Road in Roanoke.

Admission is free, but space is limited so attendees must register by Oct. 16 at the event website.
