Company expands Medicare Part D offerings to 20 states

Fox Insurance Co., a stand-alone Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Provider (PDP), is expanding its market presence, providing plans to 20 states by January 2010.

Prescription pill bottleFox Insurance currently offers its “Grand Plan” in Arkansas, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, New Jersey and North Carolina. The plan offers no deductible and additional cost benefits for beneficiaries ordering a 90-day supply of their prescriptions.

Additionally, the Grand Plan program provides gap coverage, with no co-pays required through the coverage gap on preferred generic drugs, according to the New York-based company.

Fox Insurance will also offer its Value Plan to those states as well as Alaska, California, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and West Virginia.

Dubbed the company’s most affordable plan, the Value Plan maintains low premiums with no co-pay on preferred generic prescriptions at preferred pharmacies after the deductible. Discounts are also offered on coinsurance premiums for prescriptions filled through the mail.

Jaydip Dattaray, chief operating officer for Fox Insurance, said the firm is “extremely pleased to announce the expansion of our reach, and look forward to providing the highest level of customer service to current and new beneficiaries alike.”
