Maryland legislators will review current issues in Annapolis as part of the Independent Insurance Agents of Maryland’s second annual Legislative Summit, scheduled for Nov. 4.
This year’s event will begin with registration at 8 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m. at The Conference Center at the Maritime Institute in Linthicum Heights, Md.
In addition to hearing from local legislators, attendees will hear a presentation on ethics and disclosure, an update on the state regulatory environment by Maryland Insurance Commissioner Ralph S. Tyler and a panel discussion on ethical competition/ contractual compliance.
The program is approved for three hours of ethics and three hours of life/health/property-casualty continuing education credits.
