RiskProNet International, a network of independent insurance brokers in North America, has added a new firm to its ranks.

Assurance Ltd., located in Las Vegas, Nev., announced it has joined the RiskProNet network. Founded in 1952, Assurance offers commercial and personal insurance, specializing in construction and professional liability, as well as group benefits, bonds and executive business planning services.

The addition of Assurance brings the North American network to 24 agencies, including

AH&T Insurance, in Virginia; Herbert L. Jamison Co. in New Jersey; Lawley and Sterling & Sterling in New York; and Johnson, Kendall & Johnson in Pennsylvania.

In 2008, RiskProNet members had combined revenues of more than $688 million and more than $6.5 billion in written premium. Through its brokerage alliance, members can serve clients in more than 300 cities in 110 countries.
