IWIF Workers’ Compensation Insurance was honored for its agency-carrier communications by the insurance technology company Applied Systems.
The Towson, Md.-based workers’ compensation insurer received the 2009 Interface Partner Award for its leadership and innovations. The award cited the carrier’s commitment to providing agents with downloads, real-time inquiry and real-time rating, according to IWIF.
IWIF received the partnership award during a ceremony in Kansas City, Mo., at 2009 TENCon, the Technology, Education & Networking Conference, hosted by ASCnet, the Applied Systems Client Network.
“The continued commitment of IWIF’s and other forward-thinking carriers keeps our industry advancing,” said Doug Johnston, vice president for partner relations and product innovation at Applied Systems, in a statement. “We recognize the company’s dedication to interface partnerships with its agencies, and for overall benefit to the industry.”
