The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Jersey made a $40,000 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey.

The contribution was raised through a series of events including the 15th Annual Trusted Choice Charity Golf Classic, held at Forsgate Country Club in Monroe Township, May 5.

Additional funds were raised through IIABNJ local county golf outings and donations from Trusted Choice independent insurance agents and company and industry friends, including a $2,500 donation from The Independent Insurance Agents of Morris/Sussex counties.

In addition, the Independent Agents and Brokers of Central New Jersey donated $4,000 in memory of long-time member Howard Kucher.

IIABNJ has donated $379,000 to the foundation since 1999 when it adopted Make-A-Wish as its state charity.
