Firm signs pact for independent agent download application
A New Jersey insurance agency has signed a contract with Houston, Texas-based Connective Technologies for agency download technology.
Farmers Insurance Co. of Flemington, based in Flemington, N.J., signed to use TEAM-UP Download for the servicing of agency downloads to its independent agency distribution channel.
TEAM-UP provides once-and-done processing in an industry compliant, data-secure environment for agency downloads, according to Connective Technologies officials.
John Danka, vice president of underwriting for Farmers, said in a statement that TEAM-UP will allow the company to “broaden our servicing capabilities and further strengthens our core competencies for ease of doing business with our independent agents.”
“TEAM-UP aligns well with our desires for a real-time service to agents for effective, timely downloads of their premium content,” Danka said.
TEAM-UP Download is an Internet-secure offering being leveraged by more than 55 property-casualty carriers in providing accessibility to more than 28,000 communicating agency pairs, using more than 40 different agency management systems throughout every region in the United States.
Farmers offers personal and commercial insurance property and casualty products through independent agents.
