John Oxendine, insurance commissioner for Georgia, is reportedly being sued by the federal government for taking trips paid for by an insurance company embroiled in a dispute in his state, according to an Associated Press article.
The trip with his wife was to the Oscars (why not Hawaii or Bermuda?), and may have broken a few pesky campaign finance laws…the guy is hoping to become governor.
