A Louisiana agent whose insurance license had been suspended Aug. 14 has had her license reinstated.

A Louisiana Insurance Department administrative hearing tribunal ruled Dec. 17, 2009, that evidence against Tanya Mclain Weems, 38, of Shreveport, La., did not support revoking her license or a proposed $9,675 fine, records show.

Weems had been accused by the department’s fraud section of misrepresentation in connection with her work at an insurance agency in Shreveport, La., in November 2008
