Virginia State Police seek insurance ‘Fraud Fighters’ nominations
The Insurance Fraud Program of the Virginia State Police is accepting nominations for the sixth annual Fraud Fighters Awards, honoring those who go the extra mile to stop illegal activity in the state.
Any individual who has made exemplary efforts in helping to reduce insurance fraud in Virginia is eligible, with likely candidates coming from law enforcement, commonwealth attorneys or those in the insurance industry.
Nominations are due on or before Feb. for the awards, scheduled to be handed out May 12 at a special luncheon meeting during the Virginia Chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units Annual Training Seminar.
