New group benefit options are available to business owners with a maximum of nine employees through Sun Life Financial’s recently enhanced E-Z Choice program.
Employee Benefits Group, the Wellesley Hills, Mass.-based division of Sun Life Financial, offers the program, which targets employers with two to nine employees and provides a variety of customized plans with online management tools. Eligible business owners can choose from group dental, group life, long-term disability and short-term disability under the E-Z Choice program.
E-Z Choice’s recent updates include three core dental plans with maximums set at $1,000, $1,200 and $1,500, respectively. The updates also include a three-year rate guarantee on life and disability plans and an increased maximum of $1,500 on short-term disability plans, according to the company. E-Z Choice employee benefits have a customized option for contribution levels as well, ranging from full employer payments to full employee payments.
“We understand that small business owners want to provide quality benefits to employees at an affordable cost,” said Scott Beliveau, vice president of multi-line product center, in a statement.
“We keep it simple with easy-to-understand plan designs, online administration, and a team of customer service experts dedicated to groups of this size,” Beliveau added.
