A 33-year-old Rochester, N.Y., woman will serve three years of probation and pay $4,933 in restitution for a fake insurance claim she made in connection with a 2007 fire at her house.

Alma Perry was sentenced Jan. 21 in U.S. District court on her guilty plea to a felony charge of wire fraud, according to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle.

Perry admitted applying for an insurance policy after an electrical fire at her home in 2007, then filing a claim indicating the fire happened after the policy’s approval.
