Regional life insurer inks deal for new illustration program
Grange Life Insurance Co. has reached an agreement with iPipline to use the software company’s Illustration Suite for life and annuity illustrations.
Through the new deal, Grange Life will employ iPipeline’s web-based solution for needs analysis, advanced sales and illustrations to both property-casualty and life insurance agencies.
Based in Columbus, Ohio, Grange Life offers auto, home, life and business protection through its network of independent agents in 13 states, including Pennsylvania and Virginia. Grange Life is a subsidiary of the Grange Mutual Casualty Co.
Kathy Cunningham, assistant vice president of marketing for Grange Life, said in a statement that the company’s decision to purchase the program “was based on selecting the best vendor offering in the marketplace.
“Although we previously developed our own illustration system, we asked ourselves how we could best increase the selling power of our products for producers,” she said. “iPipeline’s track record, strong thought leadership position, and guidance throughout the evaluation process convinced us to bring in the proven technology.”
iPipeline, headquartered in Exton, Pa., provides sales distribution software to the insurance and financial services market through its on-demand service.
The company’s president, Bill Butler, said iPipline’s “ability to demonstrate exceptional value over both competitor and home-grown illustration solutions continues to drive increasing demand for our Illustration Suite.”
