NAIFA-GW holding first annual Legacy Award Luncheon March 18
The Greater Washington Foundation of Insurance and Financial Advisors (GWFIFA) is holding its first annual Legacy Award Luncheon March 18 at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md. The awards were formerly known as the Wilner and Meyers/Brandrup Awards.
GWFIFA is the charitable arm of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – Greater Washington (NAIFA-GW).
Tim Brant, Vice President of Sports at ABC 7/WJLA TV, will serve as the keynote speaker.
At the luncheon, GWFIFA will distribute annual grants to charities it supports including For Love Of Children, Mentors Inc, Friends of Project Discovery, Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes and Montgomery County Family Self Sufficiency Program.
Representatives of Project Discovery will provide this year’s charity address.
Those who have contributed $15,000 or more to the foundation will be honored by being inducted into the Helping Hands Society.
