Agents learn how health reform affects them directly from carrier CEOs
How will the health care reform legislation passed late Sunday night by the U.S. House affect agents and brokers in the mid-Atlantic?
For answers, we will appeal to a higher authority; namely, the CEO’s of large, regional insurers.
This Wednesday morning, March 24, the Baltimore Association of Health Underwriters (BAHU) and Greater Washington Association of Health Underwriters (GWAHU) are hosting a Health Care CEO Panel Discussion. The event will be held in Columbia, Md.
The panel includes the CEOs and presidents of large local carriers, such as UnitedHealthcare (Jim Cronin), Aetna (Tom Grote), CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield (Chet Burrell), and moderated by Janet Trautwein, executive director of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
This is sure to be an extremely timely and valuable presentation for any health insurance agent, broker or executive in the mid-Atlantic. I sit on the board of the Baltimore Association of Health Underwriters, and am eagerly looking forward to hearing more from these experts.
