An American International Group subsidiary has renewed its lease in Jersey City, N.J., one of the largest leasing transactions in the state this year, according to the real estate broker.

National Union Fire Insurance Co. of Pittsburgh, Pa., will remain at 101 Hudson Street through April 2018.

The insurer will give up its 14th floor offices and continue to lease 341,477 square feet of property through 2012, according to Mack-Cali Realty Corp.

In 2013, National Union Fire Insurance will lease 271,533 square feet, ending in April 2018.
