Dominion Dental Services, a regional provider and administrator of dental and vision benefits, launched a new producer portal, allowing agents to create quotes and proposals, track their quote activity and view dental and vision product information in one location, according to a company statement.

“We’ve invested a considerable amount of time, resources and effort to develop an innovative online application that provides our producers with unparalleled administrative convenience,” said Dominion COO Mike Davis in the statement. “Our producer portal creates proposals on the fly with pre-approved rates and plans, significantly minimizing the time producers spend on obtaining dental and vision quotes.”

The Producer Portal, available at www.dominiondental.com, offers 10 off-the-shelf dental plans for groups under 50 lives and custom quotes for groups over 50 lives (over 20 lives if employer-paid); not need for census information; customizable dental plan designs with adjustable in and out-of-network coinsurance, benefit levels, deductibles, annual maximums (including rollover maximums), waiting periods, dependent age limits and other add-ons, company officials said.

Other features include access to three vision plans; the ability to sort and edit quotes by date and group size; and access to underwriting guidelines, administrative forms and pre-sales materials.

Dominion Dental Services, incorporated in 1996, provides services to the Mid-Atlantic, offering managed care and indemnity programs, claims adjudication and plan administration. Headquartered in Alexandria, Va., the company has about 400,000 customers.
