Keystone Insurers Group, a Northumberland, Pa.-based property-casualty insurance company, has added three new franchises.
Keystone added Houk Insurance Agency of Horse Cave, Ky., and Mountain Valley Insurance in Barbourville, Ky. The two agencies bring the Kentucky franchise total to 21.
David Houk leads his eponymous agency, which offers a full line of insurance products including bonds, home, auto, large and small commercial, farm, life, and individual and group medical insurance. Mountain Valley Insurance has five locations in the central and southeast corner of the state and is under the management of Diana Hunt, an active member of Professional Insurance Agents of Kentucky and Independent Insurance Agents of Kentucky.
Keystone also is partnering with Palmer Miller Nelson Insurance Agency, a Columbus, Ohio-based independent insurance agency. It is one of the largest Westfield Insurance agencies in the U.S. and marks the 24th partner for Keystone in that state.
Founded in 1983, Keystone Insurers Group is owned by its employees and its 210 franchise partners in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky. Each partner is an independent agency. Collectively, the companies generate premiums exceeding $1.4 billion.
