The Greater Washington, D.C., chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors has scheduled four hours of continuing education for insurance agents, followed by an afternoon at the horse races.

The event begins with continuing education at 9 a.m. Oct. 8 at Laurel Park Race Track in Laurel, Md.

Lunch is provided. A reception follows the running of the NAIFA-GW Classic.
