The 2011 NAIFA-Delaware Reception and Awards Dinner will be held at the Courtyard Marriott in Newark, Del., May 2, from 6 to 11 p.m.
The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors’ chapter’s dinner will precede the 38th Annual Career Conference will be held at the University of Delaware’s Clayton Hall in Newark May 3. Industry experts from across the country and the tri-state region will present sales and motivational presentations, multiple breakout sessions to choose from, and a special Life Foundation – Life Lesson story. Up to 6 continuing education credits will be offered.
Dick Vermeil, former NFL head coach, football analyst, author and founder of Vermeil Wines, will serve as keynote speaker at the conference, which runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Other speakers include Michael Keenan, senior vice president of the Life Foundation and this year’s recipient of the Newton Russell Award, and Tom Hegna, a vice president at New York Life.
At the reception, the Bennetti Award and Carl Hill Award will be presented to this year’s recipients at the reception.
