Md., N.J. agencies among long-term care insurance sales leaders
Long-term care insurance agencies in Columbia, Md., and Rockaway, N.J., were among five recently recognized for showing the greatest growth in sales last year.
Capitol Metro Financial Services, based in Columbia, Md., was recognized for its 2010 LTC insurance sales in the under $500,000 category with a 2011 Long-Term Care Insurance Agency Achievement Award, presented recently by the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance at the 2011 National LTCi Summit. More than 550 people attended the event in Las Vegas.
Capitol Metro Financial Services had a 93% increase in paid LTC insurance sales for the year, according to the AALTCI.
Individual Commercial Brokerage in Rockaway, N.J., was recognized for its 2010 LTC insurance sales in the $2.5 million to $5 million category. The company had a 34% increase in its paid LTC sales last year, according to the organization.
Other award recipients included LTC Benefits Group in Omaha, Neb., in the $1 million & $2.5 million category, where it had a 55% increase in LTC insurance sales last year; MasterCare Solutions of Portland, Ore., in the $5 million to $10 million category, where it had a 26% increase in sales last year; and LTCI Partners in Lake Forest, Ill., in the sales over $10 million category, where it had a 32.5% increase in sales last year.
Established in 1998, the AALTCI is a national association serving insurance and financial professionals who provide long-term care financing solutions.
