Ill. insurance department revokes agent’s license after forgery
A Joliet, Ill., insurance agent’s license was revoked after she admitted to forging signatures on insurance documents, according to state officials.
Marisol Balderas forged the signatures of eight consumers to 36 documents related to insurance, according to the Illinois Department of Insurance.
Balderas’s licsense revocation, effective Nov. 18, 2011, included a $10,000 penalty.
Balderas was licensed to sell life, health, casualty and fire insurance since 2003.
