The Greater Washington Foundation of Insurance and Financial Advisors (GWFIFA or the Foundation) is proud to sponsor the first annual Legacy Award Luncheon on March 18, 2010, at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD. GWFIFA is the charitable arm of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – Greater Washington (NAIFA-GW). Tim Brant, Vice President of Sports at ABC 7/WJLA TV, will serve as the keynote speaker. At the luncheon, GWFIFA will distribute annual grants to charities it supports including For Love Of Children, Mentors Inc, Friends of Project Discovery, Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes (SAL) and Montgomery County Family Self Sufficiency Program. Representatives of Project Discovery will provide this year’s charity address. Those who have contributed $15,000 or more to the Foundation will be honored by being inducted into the Helping Hands Society. No cost for NAIFA-GWDC members; $40 guest fee.
