While Congress and President Barack Obama work on comprehensive health reform, an effort to force managed care companies to adhere to a code of conduct is gaining steam.
A national physicians group is voicing its support and seeking public support for a Health Insurer Code of Conduct being drafted by the American Medical Association.

Agencies have been forced to lay off employees, limit products and services, shift to other lines, and have seen significant drops in compensation.
