When this video first began, I thought that it was a spoof from the likes of John Stewart or Saturday Night Live. Its camera work is definitely along the lines of the “mockumentary” style used by NBC’s The Office, which, like this video, doesn’t have an audience or a laugh track. But alas, the video below is actually an initiative from the Obama Administration that attempts to explain complicated topics to what it perceives is a dumbed-down electorate.
Health insurance costs for small businesses are driven up in part by high broker fees and health plan administrative costs, according to a new government report.
As a direct result of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) – also known as ObamaCare – health insurance agent and broker commissions have been slashed by as much as 50%. Agencies have been forced to lay off employees, limit products and services, shift to other lines, and have seen significant drops in compensation.
