North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin today (Feb. 21) signed a notice calling for a hearing on proposed increases to the state’s dwelling fire and extended coverage rates.
The North Carolina Department of Insurance (NCDOI) will review the dwelling fire and extended rate filing. The public comment period on the filing ended ended Jan. 31.
United Insurance Holdings Corp. has announced that its property-casualty division is submitting applications to write insurance in seven states, including New Jersey.
