Massachusetts-based The Hanover Insurance Group announced it has completed its deal to acquire the Campania Group in a move it says “demonstrates our strong commitment to the healthcare business.”

The Hanover Insurance Group announced the availability of a new ocean cargo product it says offers broader coverage, specialized claims, and underwriting and loss control services to help partner agents build their business.

The Hanover Insurance Group has acquired a Vienna, Va.-based specialty insurance provider in what it calls “a significant commitment toward broadening our professional lines portfolio.”

The New York Alliance Against Insurance Fraud (NYAAIF) recently elected its news officers and board of directors, selecting John Sargent to lead the group through the end of 2010.
