Support for a repeal of the health reform law, which U.S. House Republicans plan to mount starting Jan. 18, is dropping, a new poll finds.

The U.S. House of Representatives will begin debate Jan. 18 on an effort by Republican representatives to repeal the health reform law approved by a Democratic majority last year.

Republicans plan to use their new majority in the U.S. House of Representatives to pass a bill repealing the Democrats’ hard-won health reform.

Republicans who now have a majority in the U.S. House of Representatives plan to fight to repeal federal health reform, passed in March by Congress’ Democratic leadership.

An effort to strip the federal health care reform law of a key provision failed in the U.S. House June 15.
