Group Insurance Solutions has renamed itself WorkforceTactix, a name that company officials say they hope will show its overall expansion.

The merger of Group Benefit Services with Client First Brokerage Services late last year has spawned an expansion of education programs originally offered by Client First.

While the economy is in freefall, a Sioux Falls, South Dakota workers’ compensation agency, Insurance Specialty Group, is defying the odds and racking up double-digit growth.
